DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 7:30 am. Meeting starts promptly at 8:00am. \nPlease register to attend monthly meetings. Deadline to register is 5pm on Monday before the Thursday meeting. \nFebruary Program: \nClear Creek ISD Superintendent of Schools  \nDr. Karen Engle\n\n\nFrom a student to a superintendent\, the story of Dr. Karen Engle is unique. Karen attended Clear Lake City Elementary\, Webster Intermediate\, and graduated from Clear Lake High School. She went on to pursue a career in education which brought her right back to CCISD. Over her career\, she served as an assistant principal\, elementary and high school principal\, and as an assistant superintendent of secondary education. She retired in December 2021. \nIn December 2022\, the CCISD Board of Trustees named Dr. Karen Engle as the superintendent of school for the Clear Creek Independent School District\, where she proudly serves today. \nIn 2024\, the Texas PTA named Dr. Engle the Superintendent of the Year. \nDr. Engle has a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University\, a master’s degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake\, and a doctorate from Bethel University. \nShe is married with two grown children and one granddaughter. \n**************************************************************************************** \n\nFor food allergies or dietary restrictions\, please notify Melodie Billings in advance of the meeting.
